UPDATE: C.T.E. Productions, Inc. v. Newmark/Echelon Entertainment Group, LLC

We previously reported that our client C.T.E. Productions, Inc. won its arbitration claim against Newmark/Echelon Entertainment Group, LLC (“Newmark”). Paul Battista confirmed the arbitration award with the Los Angeles County Superior Court and then filed a motion claiming that Mr. Eric Louzil should be named as “an additional judgment debtor” because he is the “alter ego” of Newmark.

On December 4, 2007, the Honorable Zaven V. Sinanian signed an order granting the motion to “pierce the corporate veil” of Newmark. Mr. Eric Louzil is now personally liable for the $51,674.50 judgment jointly with Newmark.
